The 28th International Nuclear Physics Conference (INPC2022) was successfully held in Cape Town, South Africa from 11 to 16 September 2022, marking the first time conference on African continent. This event, overseen by Union of Pure and Applied (IUPAP), coincided with three major scientific events: Year Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development (IYBSSD), centenaries Nobel Prize awarded Niels Bohr establishment IUPAP. program spanned a wide range topics across breadth Physics, hadrons nuclei, fundamental science applications, covering such as Hadron Structure Spectroscopy QCD Partonic Phenomena, Hot Dense Matter, Reactions, Astrophysics, Applications Societal Impact, Neutrinos Nuclei, Fundamental Interactions Symmetries, New Facilities Instrumentation, Outreach Science Education, Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Physics. in-person largest bring our community together since COVID-19 pandemic, provided an excellent opportunity 468 delegates explore latest progress field reconnect colleagues.
